Train smarter.
Dance stronger.
Elevate your potential.

A program of strength & conditioning, genre technique, choreography and training education, built for competition-level dancers who want more than their studio timetable can give them.

Ages 12+ Entry by application

What is Elevé

More than learning choreography.

Elevé gives dancers the areas of training that rarely fit a traditional studio timetable. Every session brings four of them together in one room, taught by qualified dance professionals.

I

Strength & Conditioning

The physical qualities dancers need to perform at their best: strength, control, stability, mobility, coordination and endurance.

II

Technique

Genre-specific technical training that teaches the foundations and movement qualities behind each style.

III

Choreography

A genre-based combination each week, developing musicality, dynamics, performance quality, memory and adaptability.

IV

Education

Why we train the way we do: safe training principles, body awareness, recovery, flexibility and sustainable habits.

Inside a session

How the two hours run.

45minutes
Strength + Conditioning

Progressive exercises designed around the physical demands of dance.

45minutes
Genre-based Technique

The technical foundations and movement qualities of that session's genre.

30minutes
Choreography

A challenging combination that applies the technique, musicality and performance concepts from the session.

Education is woven through all three blocks: practical coaching and discussion integrated into the physical, technical and choreography work.

The genre rotation

A different style. A different challenge. Every week.

Elevé rotates through genres so students become adaptable dancers rather than comfortable in one movement language.

Musical TheatreCharacter · Storytelling · Performance · Style

LyricalControl · Expression · Musical interpretation

"The purpose of the rotation is to develop dancers who can walk into different rooms, understand different movement languages and confidently take on new choreography."

Elevé poster: We always start with strength. Every Elevé event begins with strength and conditioning.

Why strength & conditioning

Strong dancers are better prepared dancers.

Dance places significant demands on the body. Strength and conditioning builds the control and efficiency to meet them, without making dancers bulky or costing them flexibility.

  • Core and trunk control
  • Lower-body strength
  • Single-leg stability
  • Landing and deceleration
  • Balance and proprioception
  • Mobility
  • Coordination
  • Muscular endurance
  • Explosive power
  • Movement control

Complements, not replaces

Designed to work alongside your home studio.

Elevé isn't a replacement for existing studio training. It's an additional environment where dancers develop the physical, technical, creative and educational skills that make everything else they do work better.

Why mornings

More training, without sacrificing more school.

An early start lets committed dancers access additional training before the school day, instead of adding another afternoon or weekend commitment. Regular classes, rehearsals and competitions carry on as normal.

Two ways to train

The ongoing program, and the pop-ups.

Both run on the same principles. One compounds week after week; the other goes deep in a single stretch.

Ongoing program

The weekly training environment.

The same room, the same group, week after week. Strength, technique and choreography compound across the term, and dancers are held to the standard every session. Eight sessions per term, by application.

Pop-up workshops

A half-day intensive, run through the year.

Held on school holidays, pupil-free days or weekends. Pop-ups deliver everything Elevé is known for in a longer-form half-day package: high-level training, industry-relevant choreography and dance-athlete education. They're also where invitations to the ongoing program are handed out.
